We'll be there on the 18th also, but it will be my first time rafting up at Hart-Miller. I was hoping to get there a couple of times before Aquapalooza, but it just didn't work out.

We're planning on getting there about 9. Is that too early? Also, can anyone give me any tips on rafting etiquette?

You might be a tad early at 9:00 am, although there may be someone from MarineMax there by that time. They coordinated the raft up last time and assisted those that need it.

As for some raft-up tips, come in SLOW and don’t point your bow at the boat you are rafting up to, that anchor on the front will leave a nasty mark. If you can use the wind and current to help push you close. All you have to do is get close to the boat you are rafting up to, and then throw them your lines and they will pull you in. Make sure you have your fenders out already. Most of us carry 4 fenders and most likely the boats you are next to will have there fenders out as well. You probably will not need to drop your anchor, as others will be out already. Once you are in and tied off be ready to help the person coming in or your other side, then your done.
