Just wanted to check and see how many folks were thinking about attending the Lake Union SeaRay event at Andrews Bay, Lake Washington July 25-26.....???

I just signed up as well....relatively new to this forum, but I've got some great pics to post with our new 2009 280 we picked up from LUSR about a month ago and have been having a blast. Just got back this past week from spending time at Quartermaster, Elliott Bay, and Port Townsend. Look forward to meeting some local folks at the event.

I signed up a long time ago... just don't read very often!

I went last year, it was a lot of fun. Jumping from swim platform to swim platform can be hazardous in the dark, so be ready. I'd also say that watching some people, you can't bring enough tequila!

Chris, you need to get on board for Lake Union Sea Ray & Sea Ray Cruising Club NW Poulsbo run in August........
 
My wife has agreed to spend a day on the boat with me. Will probably launch from Renton and come up for the day. Hope to have some fun and laughs.

We have registered for Aquapalooza but have no idea what to expect. We have a 23' boat and won't be spending the night.

We were looking for a little more information about what time to arrive (I know it starts at noon) and what goes on throughout the day. Do we just anchor and raft up to other boats? Is there any way to come and go or are we there all day?

Any information that anyone can provide about prior years would be great. We bought our first boat this year and are having a ton of fun with it.

Not sure how it goes Suzi but we hope to be on the water by 10AM.
It'll be our first Aquapalooza. Our Boat name is on the transom, if you see us, say hi.

We're slipped at the Newport Yacht Basin near I-90/405, so we'll probably pop on over to Andrews Bay for the day and head back. We drop anchor over there often and BBQ, etc...we've seen quite a few yacht clubs the last few weekends that have set up shop down there. If the weather is as hot as they are predicting (though it's now cooled down a bit from the 90s), should be packed.

How do you get connected with the other LUSR cruises?

I haven't joined yet but Mark belongs to the "Sea Ray Cruising Club Northwest". It's a great group of people.
