Just curious if any is attending this event. Scheduled for July 28 just inside the channel from Round Lake - I think. Time is pretty darn close to our gathering. My wife wondered if anyone was sticking around for this.

Hey Jeff,
Not sure if we are going to be in the area but was curious if anyone was going.
We moved south to Frankfort on Saturday, had a great ride. Calm all the way out of the Bay and then rollers with the north wind on the Lake. We dinked around in Cathead Bay for a while; we like to walk the beach there. Kathy likes to hunt Petoskey Stones and I’m in charge of the dog. Always nice to see an area from the water after seeing on land.
Just made the call to Elk rapids so I think we are set.

Sorry to hear you're out of Harbor West. I'm coming in this weekend. Never done Cathead, but it is beautiful from the shore. A friend that goes there recomends watching for rocks. Any advice on how far out to stay to still get a good hold without fear of rocks?
