Approximate weight of 270 sundancer

Greetings
I have a 1986 270 Sundancer with dual Mercruiser 5.7's. She sits on a steel triple axle trailer. I'm pulling with a 2001 ford f250 7.3. I'm just curious what the boat + trailer weight are? I've read what NADA rates the boat weight, that seems on the light side.

Have you checked the archives at searay.com? My 06 260SD was 7,500 dry with a 1,200 lb aluminum double axle trailer and 1,000 lb fuel so around 9,700 total. With twin engines and steel triple axle trailer I would guess you are in the 11,000 lb range.

I ran my 2000 270 with twin 4.3's and aluminum triaxle trailer across the scales and it came in at #11,300. I would guess you can add a fair amount on to that for yours. No problem pulling with a 2500 Duramax

A mid 80s 270 Sundancer bears no resemblance to any Sundancer produced from the mid 90s on.
