I’ve got it in my cockpit and love it. Mine is held in place with Velcro instead of snaps. I love it so much that when I first put it down I thought to myself that I was going to make a template and order it for my swim platform too.
Then I went through the season with it and changed my mind.
It’s a fantastic product for the cockpit. Looks beautiful, easy to clean, but it gets hot as hell when in the direct sunlight.
Way too hot for bare feet or skin.
Not a good choice for a swim platform unless you never plan to be barefoot on it or sit on it in a bathing suit with legs dangling in the water on a hot day.
Something to keep in mind regarding anything that you have to glue down: When doing work in the bilge I pick up the woven vinyl stuff to prevent getting grease on it or scratching or damaging it with tools or parts. I wouldn’t be able to do that if it was glued down.

Me either. Mine has the diamond pattern weave and not slippery at all and I actually find it cooler then just gel coat. My swim platform usually stays wet when traveling and gets a good wash when I come off of plane. :)

I like having everything covered because it keep my OCD under control ..... no more foot prints.

What kind of glue you used for the swim platform?

SeaDek markets a cleaner product and it takes off all kinds of stains that make it look like new.

I installed a bracket on the existing swim platform, and had to cut out and remove a portion of SeaDek. Boy that stuff was really stuck down! The adhesive is 3M. If you know anything about them you will understand that their "glues' are the best in the industry.

basic Searay I made the template and sent it to Quint4, he then made the carpet from that. He now has that pattern for future 340's ( I hope, lol )

It’s best to take the time to make your own pattern. Corinthian had a pattern for my boat but when I got it the hole for the table base plate was off by about an inch. They were fantastic about it and sent me a new piece for that section after I sent them my own pattern.
While the other cockpit pieces were nice, I probably would have made them slightly different if I were submitting my own pattern for them.

I honestly don't remember... it was a few years ago. I think I used an adhesive caulk. I know I used a spray adhesive for the stairs, and that hasn't held up as well. I need to reapply every now and again. But the platform infinity isn't going anywhere!

I used adhesive caulk in the stairs for the Infiniti carpet but didn't work, i removed all the caulking in the stairs and the second time applied "contact cement glue", and now is holding well, i have it for almost a year.

I wonder how either Sea Dek or Infinity Woven would be on a condo balcony? I need something water can't hurt, but looks nice. It would be directly on painted concrete.

I’m going with infinity, too. My canvas guy is going to install infinity for us on the bridge, steps, cockpit and swim platforms. We went with snaps so we can replace pieces, as needed. With 2 dogs and a lot of foot traffic, I didn’t want something as permanent. It’s going to be a while before we get this installed. He’s also making an entirely new enclosure for the fly bridge and aft cockpit.

I mounted the woven vinyl on the swim platform with HD exterior 2-sided tape. I didn't want snaps and I didn't want anything getting under the flooring.
