Anyone use Boeshield T-9 to prevent rust

I like Boeshield (Boeing Airplanes invented) it covers & stays. Unlike WD40 that just runs off....

I've been using it for quite a while - it's one of my favorites. Type "boeshield" into the search bar - you'll get lot's of hits about it.

Do you have to be careful to keep it off the serpentine belt?

A lot of that crap goes on too thick. If you have rust your best solution is to clean your parts up and paint it. So coating it with whatever product is more or less a band aid. Then you'll have to deal with getting that product off when you do decide to do it the right way. Keep the paint up to snuff and moisture in check, all you'll need is a light coat of CRC or something similar.

Now if I was working on my trailer or the undercarriage of my truck that would be another story
