Anyone remember Chrysler boats?

I know a guy at work that supposedly has a chrysler jet boat - says it'll do about 70 - I forget what engine it had, i'll have to ask him. Cool link.

Had about a 73? trihull fishing boat ....all 15 feet of it
 
Had a 16' live-and-let-die closed bow boat in the early '80's with a 115hp Chrysler outboard. Man, I battled that motor, but I looked cool.
 
Yes! I had a Charger 151, yellow with a 55 hp evinrude. I loved that boat, got it when I was 14 and traded it for my first car when I was almost 16. I had a lot of great adventures on that boat, thanks for the reminder.
 
i can't remenber the exact year but, I bought a new 18' charger with a 115hp. OMC outboard. The thing would fly. It was a good boat but, family just outgrew it.
My BIL bought a Chrysler boat and engine. He still has this but it has not run since the 70's. Engine blew up and he just stored it without ever fixing it. Boat is in great shape.

My first boat was a courier 154 15 foot trihull, walk through windshield. The hull was designed too chanel even the smallest wave you hit directly onto the drivers seat. we had a lot of fun in that boat.

We almost bought a Silverline with a 105HP Chrysler from a new dealer at our lake. My dad and the salesman had a falling out as they had our boat sitting on a trailer and they wanted full payment before they delivered the boat to the lake. Dad said you have out boat, motor and trailer sitting in your lot and I will pay you the balance on delivery. They didn't budge and nor did my dad. Best thing that ever happened to us in the way of boats.

The boat got bought by some friends of ours on the lake and it turned out to be a piece of crap. Engine would over heat after runing for about an hour and they never could get it fixed. Another family on the lake had another Silverline with the 75HP that had problems as well.

We were lucky as it all turned out.
