Anyone know anything about the Savannah River

Have been anxious to take a trip from Augusta Ga. to Savannah Ga. Has any one ever made this trip, and if so what to expect.............. I wish I could type. This is difficult with 2 fingers while you are stareing at the keyboard.

I know some people still do it on Jet Skies, and every now and then I hear about a couple canbots making the trip. I've been interested in doing it to. Just be prepared for no service the whole way from what I hear. Midway may jump in here soon, he sent me some info on it before. I'll have to do some looking around and see if I can come up with the info and links. I put the planning for that trip on the back burning.

Also, as an FYI, there is a lot of debris floating in that river. Keep your eyes open.

Thanks for the link. I have heard of group that takes this trip around Fathers day. Hopefully we can learn alttle more by spring?
