anyone know about remanufacted bravo 3

help I need a knew b3 outdrive merc. has a remanufacted or cetified preowned program anyone know any thing about these they are a little cheaper than a new drive

I bought a "new in the box" Bravo 1 without a mfg. warranty a few months ago. It was a liquidation deal. Also, my insurance paid for it. What I got was for race boat since it has the low water pick-up. I didn't see any special deals on the website today.

I got it through Victory Marine in Texas. They are showing Bravo 3's:
Mercury CPO $4,400
Non Current 3,400
Veictory Remfg. 2,900

This is what Victory says about their non-current and re-mfg'd drives: All Non-Current outdrives are late model new outdrives that carry a 6 month Victory Marine warranty. Our Non-Current uppers and lowers carry a 30 day victory marine warranty. Each unit is dissassembled and examined for the correct tolerances using the same standard applied to our performance customers.
We have most ratios available for every model/style outdrive. Remanufactured units are limited to stock on hand.

From what I understand, a Mercury CPO is a drive that has been returned to the factory under the warranty and is being sent out again as a previously owned drive with the Mercury warranty.

If you are interested, call them with questions. Make sure you get the correct gear ratio.

I just had a CPO Bravo 3 installed and it looks brand new. So far, it runs perfectly. After shopping, it seems like I saved about $800 compared to a new drive. The CPO came with a one year warranty and no break-in period. I haven't decided yet whether to purchase the 2 year extended warranty.

we bought one for the 230 week ender 2 years ago

we bought it because it carried the same warranty and was updated to new. all parts ect at the time it was re maned.

unlike buying form other remanufactures the factory certified reman's warranty is good at any mercruiser dealer anywhere
i dont think i would consider a drive with no warranty or one from one off shop.

we travel a lot with the boats though

it worked great and we save some money to boot

I don't really know much about sterndrives. It has been eleven blessed years since I've owned a boat with them.

On the other hand, I know where Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the ever popular resort spot Kyrgyzstan are located. But where the heck is Signalstan?
