Anyone else?

Anyone else soak the boat/trailer and floor with overflowing gas when trying to fill up there boats? its very annoying and when it does you can see the wax ooze off as well.. what's the fix? the vent line is clog free btw.

No - If I were you, I'd slow down the fill rate and not use the handle lock on the filler nozzle.

Yup - gotta listen for the "gurgle, gurgle, gurgle". When you hear that, stop. Some have had good luck installing either a whistler or an overflow preventer.

I also listen to the gurgle gurgle.

I also understand why the swim platform spray hose is located 6" from the gas cap.

Mine whistles nicely - my wife usually stands near the pump to reinsert the credit card and so she lets me know pretty quick since the vent would pump onto the ground near her! How accurate is your gauge - mine is pretty close and can help at least determine when the pump lock needs to come off.
