I dont think i have heard from any one in the bay area on csr(except me asking a lot of questions),where are the sea ray owners up here .Although i live about 50 minutes from my dock i am still a bay boater and would like to meet some others for day trips and the like say to charity islands or tawas etc.I also fish a bit ,but i must admitt i am starting to wonder if im going to run out of walley before spring.and as you all know the perch fishing wasnt good at all last summer so they have already been fried .I own a slip at sunset shores yacht club in bay city.Dont know the name of my boat yet but am working on it.Glen

I cannot belive that with all the searays i am parked next to in storage and have seen on the water near me no one is a csr member .I think there must be 30 or more in our marima alone, and thats out of 189 slips!Hello bay city anybody there?

I'm in the bay, not your marina, but still there. I'm currently sifting through and looking for a post about who's where and where they dock. Looking forward to sharing great Bay stories with you.

Great its about time ,we live in flushing and i work in clio.

I live in Bay City and my boat is generally on a trailer, however, I'll be docking at Wheelers Landing from mid June through mid-late July!

Maybe we should have a SeaRay raftoff at the fireworks!!

Could get interesting !Do we still get to fish?

Absolutely. My brother-in-law and I were rafted off while waiting for the fireworks last year. He was bouncing a jig off the bottom and landed 2 sheepies and a dandy walleye just down from Liberty bridge. We were so excited we could give a crap less about the fireworks.

I go out of Bay Port. Going to make the trip to Bay City this summer. We go to Caseville (by boat) for lunch or dinner, also make many trip across the bay, for lunch. By the way Bay Port Harbor is going to be dredged by the Army Corps and DNR this summer. We a raft could be organized.

That is great news banagy. We will probably be up that way for the fish sandwich again this year.Hopefully it will be a better vendor draw than last year as it was a little weaker than previous years.

Hey, when is a good time to make the trip from Bay City to Caseville? We would like to run up there sometime this summer and stay overnight, then run back.

Any time during the summer. When you get into Casevill Harbor, go up the Pigeon River about one quarter mile on the right will be the Riverside Bar. Very good lunches and dinners. You can stay in the harbor over night at the State docks.

Great info! Thank you. We will definitely be checking that out this summer.

Make sure you dont go on a holiday,or during the cheeseburger festival without a reservation though.

If you go to cheeseburger go on Wednesday evening: The parade of Fools, great time.

Flushing, Clio.... I lived in Clio until I was 8, my sister lives there now, right in town by the high school. Flushing.....well I went to Powers so I can't say much about that (Back when I was in school Flushing and Powers were rivals, not too sure about today as the Big Nine has broken up and changed around a bit) but my cousin does live there by way of (growing up in) Oscoda, college in Ann Arbor, then California, and then Texas. We're practically neighbors, both on and off the Bay! I'm in for the firework gig if we can make it happen! I'll bring the..uh..worms for fishing....or a dish to pass for the buffet...or whatever we can figure that out later, but count me in!

Very cool ,bring big anchors! Oh flushing and davison i think are rivals now.Not sure who clio is rivals with ,mabey montrose ?MELT<MELT<MELT<MELT!!!!!

Anyone ever swim in the bay, and if so is it necessary to wear shoes because of the zebra mussels (or anythig else for that matter)? I know a lot of the smaller inland lakes it is almost mandatory or else you will end up with cut up feet, but I haven't been in the water in the bay in a long time.

You may want to wear some sort of water shoe when walking the beach. Lots of broken muscle shells along the beach. Never noticed much in the shallower water where we swim. I kinda prefer swimming out deeper away from the beaches.

Great thanks! My kids are only 4 and 5 so we'll need to be in fairly close for them. Know of any good beaches or swimming holes?

I know more about the fishing holes...LOL! Usually the fishing holes end up doubling as swimming holes on hot days.

The Bay City state park beach is a happening place on hot summer days. We swim there once in a while. If you want a real clean/clear beach, head north and find a patch of shoreline a few miles north. The water cleans up real nice about 3-4 miles north of the state park on either the east or west side of the Bay.
