Anyone care about the Superbowl?

Game was not in my top 5 as best games. Falcons coaching staff showed great lack of intelligence when in easy field goal range at 28-20 late in the game. 3 runs and a field goal and the game is won. I commend Pats for never quitting, but Falcons coaches flat out handed them a win.

Best in Super Bowl history? Really? I must have watched a different game last night.

The Patriots were outplayed for 3 1/2 quarters but got lucky with three, 3rd down holding penalties against the Falcons to give the Pats the first down where they would have punted otherwise -- Plus a lucky-a$$ interception that had nothing to do with skill and 100% to do with luck. That ball was a 1/4" from hitting the turf but took a lucky bounce off a Falcon's leg to keep it alive. There was nothing that Pats defensive player did to keep it alive -- right place at the right time.

Brady was shut down for the first 3 1/2 quarters -- countless 3-and-outs, a sack and an interception. Not to mention the missed extra point. That all sounds epic to me. It wasn't until the Falcon's blew it with the penalties that the Patriots started to come back and it wasn't because they were so great. It was because the Falcons beat themselves...the penalties got them flustered and their inexperience started to show which allowed the Pats to carve out a win. A win is a win, sure, but that was not the greatest Super Bowl in history.

The only thing epic about that game is how the Falcons defeated themselves under pressure.

Sounds like someone's a little butt-hurt! Did you lose some cash betting on the Falcons? It seems the rest of the football fans set you straight so I'll leave you alone...

Lol...no, I just hate the Patriots. Plus, I really don't see it as an epic comeback.

OK, I can live without epic how bout the best comeback in Super Bowl history! FACT!

Well, for myself, the Superbowl isn't what it used to be. The NFL in general for that matter. Now, if I watch an NFL game, I mute it and turn off the captions. When commercials come on, I just turn the other way, stare at my aquarium, and play my guitar.

It's too bad identity politics has creeped into our everyday lives to such an extent.

What is going on here? The Super Bowl is awesome. The game was great but yeah a bit slow in the one sided first half. Of course, I love the patriots. So was easy for me to sit through.
And dang that 4th quarter and OT drive were classic patriots unstoppable passing game!

Best comeback maybe. Best Super Bowl was 2008 when a 12 point underdog NY Giant team beat the undefeated 18-0 New England Patriots. That catch by David Tyree pinning it to his helmet with about a minute to play....still get goosebumps thinking about it.

We can all agree to disagree.

Also, the pre-game was as lopsided as the media's love affair with Hillary vs Trump. It should have been called the Patriots Pre-Grame show. Atlanta was barely mentioned for 5 hours leading up to the game but we had to listen to everyone's wet dreams about Brady. It was as sickening as listening to John Madden act like a dog in heat for Brett Favre back in the day.

As a Colt fan I once hated the Pats, their sustained success has earned my recognition of their accomplishments. I avoided the pre-game for just that reason, but will add, what the heck have the Falcons accomplished to talk about? The Pats, on the other hand were on the verge of NFL historical greatness and dozens of Super Bowl records. Lots there to discuss and debate for the talking heads.
