Seems there's not much excitement this year.
As long as the Patriots lose I will be happy!
I have never watched a super bowl, so no I don't care about it.
We never understand the rules anyway it's all Greek to us coming from the UK. Used to like watching the ads though

Well, they're well on their way. I don't think that they'll come back from this.
Looking that way
how about now? and no, im NOT a pats fan......
Are you kidding me... This will come down to be one of the best football games of all time... Crazy finish... Drama... Booing Goodell... It was priceless
What a game. That was without any doubt the best Superbowl game I've ever watched. I was sad to see the Falcons lose but I have to give it to Tom and company for the great comeback.
I actually posted on my FB wall that if a friend hadn't come over last night and told me there was a football game today, I never would have known...
Didn't watch a game all season...
Though I did think about the game later this afternoon and turned on the tv to watch the last two plays of the game in overtime...I think I saw all I needed to see....
I was actually out on the beach talking to a guy I hadn't seen in two years that just happened to be walking by... We sat and caught up...Better than football for me...
I recorded it since I was on a train coming back from Reno. I was able to fast forward to cherry pick what I watched so it made it more tolerable. It ended up an instant classic that will re enforce that Tom Brady is one of the best all time. Like him, love him or hate him, it's undeniable. I do regret missing the awards ceremony where Big Roger was being heckled. People think The Donald is a dictator? They should pay attention to what this guy does. You know the Pats loved him having to hand over the trophy!
I used to be a big football fan but the BS is too thick these days. If the 49ers dump Kap and make some other decent moves, I may start rooting for them again. We'll see. In the mean time I need to get my boat all polished up and ready to start using her a lot again this year!
GO PATS!! Best win in Super Bowl History! Epic!!
Not much of a pro football fan - I live in Charlotte and don't have one stitch of Panthers gear. But holy cow, what a comeback - historic. And the booing of the NFL commissioner - perfect. It's the stuff movies are of. And on the entertainment side, a normal Star Spangled Banner from Luke Bryan and even liked Lady Gaga's halftime show.
Hell ya we care!
ALMOST gave up hope but we pulled out another one. one heck of a game. We are very lucky to have Brady and company here.
Let the Jimmy G sweepstakes begin.
Best in Super Bowl history? Really? I must have watched a different game last night.
The Patriots were outplayed for 3 1/2 quarters but got lucky with three, 3rd down holding penalties against the Falcons to give the Pats the first down where they would have punted otherwise -- Plus a lucky-a$$ interception that had nothing to do with skill and 100% to do with luck. That ball was a 1/4" from hitting the turf but took a lucky bounce off a Falcon's leg to keep it alive. There was nothing that Pats defensive player did to keep it alive -- right place at the right time.
Brady was shut down for the first 3 1/2 quarters -- countless 3-and-outs, a sack and an interception. Not to mention the missed extra point. That all sounds epic to me. It wasn't until the Falcon's blew it with the penalties that the Patriots started to come back and it wasn't because they were so great. It was because the Falcons beat themselves...the penalties got them flustered and their inexperience started to show which allowed the Pats to carve out a win. A win is a win, sure, but that was not the greatest Super Bowl in history.
The only thing epic about that game is how the Falcons defeated themselves under pressure.
You must have watched a different game than I...
Even though Atlanta seemed to be able to score at will in the first 3 quarters, the 40 minutes vs 23 minutes time of possession wore out the Atlanta defense. That is when they started to hold or interfere to defend as opposed to aggressive coverage. That is when NE started carving them up. At one point Atlanta offense was off the field one hour and 8 minutes, try to keep your head around that while leading by 21.
Fun gam to watch,
Nope, when is it?
Tonka, Brady threw a record number of yards last night. Pats ran 90+ offensive plays to Falcons 40+. Falcons defense was too tired at the end. Not really shut down for 3 1/2 quarters. And no, I'm not a fan.
10 months before the Grey Cup
We can all agree to disagree.
Also, the pre-game was as lopsided as the media's love affair with Hillary vs Trump. It should have been called the Patriots Pre-Grame show. Atlanta was barely mentioned for 5 hours leading up to the game but we had to listen to everyone's wet dreams about Brady. It was as sickening as listening to John Madden act like a dog in heat for Brett Favre back in the day.
