As the title suggests, has anyone visited Lanier Marine Liquidators in Dawsonville, GA? I see some items in a parts boat I am interested in and am curious if anyone has purchased anything from them. Thank you in advance for your responses.

i am also curious about this operation....I have come across their web site several times while looking at boats and parts in the past....looks like they have a very broad selection of makes and models boats that are being parted out....

    good luck....

I sold a Boston Whaler a few years ago and was looking for a project boat. Dawsonville is about 4 hours from my home in Tennessee so I drove down one winter day to see if anything they had would scratch the itch. I spent about 3 hours walking around looking at boats and I couldn't find anything that didn't need everything, if you know what I mean. The problem wan't the work involved, but rather the fact that you'd have too much $$ invested in anything I saw to ever break even.

The one possible exception may be one of the Sport-Jet Sea Rayders......they had several 14's and a couple of 16's....... There isn't a lot to replace on one of them and I have visions of a Honda Accord 6 cyl with a dry summp, marinized and mounted vertically on the Jet pump or maybe adding a bracket and turning one into an outboard. Maybe next winter...........

Been a few time, like Frank said lots of project boats and parts :)
Have not been a few years, but I thought I heard something about them going out of business or moving?
