[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica][FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica]Hello, I'm thinking about going to school to be a machinest. I did alot of metal working in high school and enjoy it. But I'm not sure if it you would be a good career to get into.
If anyone on here is a machinists please speak up on how you like your job, what you do exactly. Anything you would have done different (school, jobs, whatever) The median wage i see is $18 a hour. How accurate is that? What do you make (if you don't mind posting that).
