Any of you Sundeck 240 owners installed your own GPS?

Basically I'm looking for tips and insite into installing a Garmin GPS 3205 on to my 2006 Sundeck 240

I just installed a Garmin 540 on my 240. I am not sure how big your unit is. I mounted mine on the verticle windshield support with a Ram Mount. Perfect location for me. Wiring was easy also as the fuse block is directly below the helm position. Simply clip on to an empty position and add a fuse. My antenna is internal and works fine.
