I have a friend that had a Fram filter split at the top seam and paint his engine room with red diesel and then pump over board. What a mess! It was in a small harbor so a little Dawn dish soap applied with a garden sprayer and no one was the wiser

Had an oem cat fuel filter split at the crimp and do something similar. No fuel overboard for us but it was an absolute mess and no fun to change while underway

all I could think was thank god it was diesel, I probably wouldn’t be typing this if it was gas

I don't think that boat pictured above is Tim's only boat. A marina employee pointed out his yacht to me several years ago (in Northport) and it was far more like what you'd expect from someone with his financial means.

No matter your political views I bet he'd be a cool guy to sit on the dock and drink a beer with...
