Any Kerr Lake Boaters?

Anybody got a boat on Kerr Lake? I'm docked on the NC end of the lake, just south of the VA border. There are some nice Sea Ray boats in my marina (Inconspicuous out of Cary, if you're on here I love your 400!) but I'd like to find some fellow CSR members in my area.

I bought my 185 from Overby's Marine in Kitrell and did my sea trial on lake Kerr, but have not been back since. It looked like a really nice lake though.

I recently moved to Cary, NC area. Have done some boating on lakes Jordan and Harris, but am interested in learning about Kerr and Gaston lakes. Lived on Lake Norman's main channel for years and miss having a large, developed lake to explore.
Anyone know the best boat ramps, waterfront dining/amenities and anchorages on Kerr and Gaston?
Other interesting lakes worth trailering to from Raleigh/Cary?
