morning all,, my '06 260 DA has the exact same cutout. I've often wondered why it's there but never worried about that much to inquire further. It doesn't hurt anything, just one of life's mysteries....

So that makes 3 x 260 owners with the same cutout. I don't think SeaRay would put out 260's for 05-07 like this - just doesn't make sense. Maybe a few at the beginning would be a possibility but not for 3 years in a row.
