Any hunters out there?

Just wondering if any of you guys are as addicted to the sport as I am. And if you had any pics of past takes.

Well I wouldnt say I was addicted, but I do love to go. Dove, quail, deer mainly, but i have hunted elk, and various exotics in the past. Here is a pic of a ram I got last year.

I enjoy eating wild game as much as hunting for it. We have always gone hunting for the meat and to be honest, that ram was the first time I had gone on a hunt and wasnt planning on eating what I got. A trophy hunt in other words. But there was a mexican family there at camp that was more than happy to take it and make tamales out of it.

I grew up hunting, starting at 11, going deer hunting with a .22. About 20 yrs ago I was out hunting, and got spooked by this guy that was drunk, out hunting near me. I stopped going rifle hunting after that. I converted to archery, and enjoyed that for about 5-6 yrs, then had a rotator-cuff injury and couldn't pull my bow back, so I haven't been back since. My injury took a couple yrs to heal. I always enjoyed hunting, more being out in the woods than anything, just love it. I was a pretty good shot with both the rifle and bow(groups in 2-3" at 30 yards), it just takes lots of practice, that's all. It's a fun sport! I've always wanted to head out west for some Elk or sheep hunting.

Mostly bird hunting -- dove, duck, pheasant. Shot a western coyote in the front yard, but that wasn't sport, it was pest control.

I have my own place in the country that I still deer hunt on, a bit over 62 acres in SE MO. I used to hunt rabbit, squirel, turkey, and quail also. As I get older I find it just as enjoyable to just sit in the woods and watch what nature has to offer. But I still deer hunt because they taste good!!!

I've done that, bow too, and a spear. Pickerel fishing here in the spring, though it used to be bigger.

Haven't hunted for years but used to. Bow, pistol, shotgun, rifle. Haven't figured out why it's not as much fun as it used to be. These deer are bow kills.

gigging? that's what we call what bands do when they play in bars for no money.
