any good raft ups coming up

had such a great time and met so many great people at the chester river event, I'm ready for another one. So if anyone knows of any other raft up events coming up I would love to join.
 
There is a Marine Max Sea Ray Getaway Raft Up at Fairlee Creek this weekend...we are thinking about going and just anchoring near by.
 
We were planning to head to Fairlee on Sat but didnt know about the event. Is this an event for anyone? If the weather is good, we will be there early Sat afternoon.
Also, arent the Kent Narrows races this weekend?

This is a Marine Max sponsored “Get-A-Way” event from Bear, White Marsh, and Gunpowder Cove. They will be rafted up for the weekend, coming in on Saturday and leaving Sunday. I don’t think there is anything special is planned. We have been on many of these, but this is the first one I know of that did not go to a Marina. I am not sure on the number of boats that will be there. You do have to register with Marine Max for these.

We were planning on attending this event by Gunpowder Cove is also having a Luau / Pig Roost that evening. I think this will be more fun.
 
Can anyone register? I am a Pa resident with a Sea Ray dealer a mile away. I couldnt buy a new boat from them. Does that matter? Do the different MM locations have different activities?

Too be honest, I am not sure.

We have bought several boats from MarineMax, and we are on the email list. I get notification of “Get-A-Way” events through the course of the summer. Most are limited number of boats, depending on the size of the Marina they are going.

I would suggest you contact you closest MarinaMax dealer and ask them about the “Get-A-Ways”. The ones in this area are organized by MarineMax of White Marsh or Bear Delaware.
They are great events, and we have always had lots of fun attending them. We have met many new friends as well because of them as well.

If you see them at Fairlee Creek this weekend, ask for the “Get-A-Way” captain, and he can tell you more.
 
I'm seriously thinking about going to the races instead of Fairlee. Heading South of the race course are there any good anchorages for the night? A place to take the dog ashore would be required.
 
I should be there, I might need to work for a couple of hours on Sat. but I should make it out there if not then Sunday for sure. I will be in the 280 Sunsport with two white flags flying from the bimini top.
 
We had a good weekend at the races. Got there on Saturday just as the race was ending. Found a cove and anchored for the night. Then got front row for the Sunday race. Weather was great and the race was fun to watch.
Got home about 7:30 Sun eve. Perfect weekend.
This weekend is Pirates and Wenches weekend in Rock Hall. We'll be at Haven Harbour Marina.
