I don't remember seeing too many Pontiac convertibles in that era in this model. Most were 2dr hartops. Is this a rare car?

Still looking for pics of my Trans-Am Cuda 340 6-pack. It was a regular at the drag strip way back when I had pimples & a need for speed.
Ah, but the Cuda was the AAR (All American Racing) and the Dodge Challenger was the T/A (Trans-Am). Albeit both competed in the Trans Am series.
The Challenger T/A was originally driven by Sam Posy and competed in the Trans Am racing series in 1970 - 1971
The Plymouth Cuda was homologated as part of Dan Gurney's All American Racing team in the same years.
Those were the days when the factory sheetmetal was on the race track and racing was really a sport....
I hope you find the pics - the AAR Cuda is one of my bucket list cars.

As my 1970 T/A Cuda was a Canadian car, it did not have the "AAR" designation on it. Still can't find my pics, but it was gold with the black strobe striping down the sides. It had the black hood and rear trunk spoiler. It did not have the side exhaust.

Interesting about the Canadian model differences.
In the states, the AAR’s and T/A’s
Had the hinged fiberglass hood, side exhaust, and adjustable valve train.

‘Cuda’s (and all Plymouth’s) were designated “6-Barrell” while the Dodge’s got the “SIX-PACK”

My current money pit is my daughter. 3 more years and that money pit increases 3 fold with College.

When my daughter went to college I gave her a credit card for important things like gas and food. Not to smart of me....I financed some wild parties I found out later.

She's going to be 46yo soon....I'm pretty much over it now.
