I am planning on moving to Scottsdale, AZ and boat on Bartlett Lake once I sell my house here in Chicago. I would be bringing a boat from IL to AZ. Would I be subject to any type of personal property/vehicle tax like that levied on cars and RVs?

Should be like $35-45 for a yearly registration and like $75 for a registration transfer from IL to AZ. Don't quote me on these numbers, but there shouldn't be any taxes associated with the vessel itself.
