I am look at buying a 2009 470 Sundancer and would like to ask some questions on what I should look for when shopping. Any problems that I should know about with the 470?
Thanks

Great running boats, but if the boat you are interested in doesn't have all the software updates, the boat can be down right dangerous. In its original configuration, the Skyhook feature can run the engines at up to 1800 rpm for minor position corrections. The one I ran was an early hull number that supposedly had all the updates, but when holding a position and a wake crossed under the boat, the engines accelerated and would bury first one rub rail then the other as the wake passed by. The other irritation on this boat was that she was returned to the marina at least 6 times in Guardian mode (engines limited to about the 700 rpm........and that is a long, long ride from 50 miles offshore.

The 470 runs and handles like a ski boat but the boat described above caused our dealer to stop ordering any Zues/Axxius boats. They lost their hat, shirt and rear end on warranty claims and lost several customers as well over their not being able to keep the Zues drives working properly.
