I had one, a guy came down from Toledo and bought it a couple of years ago. Nice boats but I wanted to go a little bigger and a little faster. I had the 350 in mine.

We have a 2003 with the 350 Mag and B3. Bought it used in 2010 and have put 250 hours on her. We love our boat and enjoy taking family and friends out. Having 6-7 people onboard is about the maximum number that's comfortable. We cruise, ski, wakeboard and tube and it has plenty of power for all activities. No complaints with our boat and plenty fast when needed.

I bought a 2004 for my lake house (Smith Mountain Lake, VA). So far we have enjoyed it very much. I did have to replace the starter not long after buying it. I am wondering about annual maintenance. Some people have told me that I should replace the impeller and do the full outdrive maintenance annually while others have said only do the impeller every three years.

I have one also, a 2004 with a 5.0 and bravo. In the middle of an annual service now. My impellar housing was scored and in need of a rebuild kit. I just got it last month and want to go over it with a fine tooth comb now, so that in the spring we can be ready without the concern of anything major. The starter on mine was done this spring too so I guess about 14 years is the life span. Other than the impellar housing and some anodes it really just needs a good cleaning. I did pull the manifolds and risers and replace them with all new bolts and gaskets. I intended to replace them based on their age but they were perfectly fine on the inside. So that was a nice surprise!!

After purchasing our 2003 220 in August 2010, I pulled the outdrive at the end of the boating season and found the drive shaft splines dry. The original owner obviously didn't properly grease this area, even though there are two grease zerks you can access behind the motor on the engine coupler without pulling the outdrive.

The engine coupler was pretty worn, so I decided to replace the coupler. After a couple boating trips the next year, the engine/outdrive sounded funny. Pulled the outdrive again and found what looked like the back heel of a boot sole. It ended up being one side of the exhaust shutter flappers. So I ended up replacing those too (both sides). I also replaced the gimbal bearing as preventive maintenance.

I did replace the water pump impeller after a full season of boating in 2011. It didn't look bad at all and the original owner said he had it replaced once...he didn't remember the year. Another couple of years of boating and decided to replace the impeller again. It still looked new, but I replace it anyway and when I put everything back together, the pump wasn't sucking water. Pulled the pump off again and verified I installed the impeller correctly and then reinstalled. Pump still not sucking. Did some research and found out if the brass housing is worn it should be replaced. I ended up replacing it with a stainless steel Hardin Marine pump housing and impeller (Gen 7 sea pump). I've had that running for at least 3-4 years and no issues. I should probably pull it this winter/spring and inspect/replace impeller. It's a pain to access that pump!

The fuel gauge starting acting up, so I replaced the gas tank sending unit. I think that's about it. It has been a good boat!
