Antifreeze coming out from exhaust underneath the boat??

This is is my first year winterizing my engines on my own and I thought the antifreeze was supposed to come out of the side exhaust but very little did. I put 4 gallons into each engine via the sea strainers and most of it came out from what I'm guessing is the exhaust underneath. Did I get it right?

You should be fine I've been doing this for 10 years and same thing happens to me. I guess if you have a drain plug on your mufflers you could drain them but none of mine had them

Do you have raw water cooled engines or a closed cooling system?

Did you drain things first... engines/manifolds/raw water pump/mufflers?
