I recently opurchaed a new electric motor for a 12V 400 W Lofran's Marlin windlass. When ordering the part, Lofrans said they no longer make the 400 W and has replaced it with a 5oo W motor. Problem is, when I recieved the motor, it only has two posts, M1 and M2, the original motor has 4. When trying to install the new motor I called Lofrans and they tried to walk me through the installation and faxed me the wiring schematic but it does not work. With the new wiring scheme there are no ground going directly to the motor, only the positives and the ground goes to the control panel and there are two "extra" grounds that are free  . Anyone have this same problem or suggestions on installation. I could take the old motor and have it repaired and send the new one back.
