Another Smartcraft question.

Smartcraft depth gauge not working correctly will go from say 14’to 5' down to 0’ then the displays flashes - - - , this seems to happen at slow speeds.

Anyone run into this problem, I do have a service call in to the marina.

Did you check other threads about this issue?

One simple thing: try cleaning off the ducer.

I didn't find anything doing a search, I have a list of things the dealer is looking at and this was one of them.

I was thinking it may need to be cleaned, I don’t have a trailer so I’ll need to get wet… it only seems to happen when I’m going slow.

Sounds like it's dirty, mine does this when I've had the boat in the water for a while.
