Hi All

Been hanging around for awhile and decided to join. Just purchased a new to me 2005 220 sundeck. Admrial said the next boat had to have a head. Have gained a lot of great information from here and hopefully I can help a little.

"gettinAhead"...now what does that Really mean? Admiral said the next boat had to have a Head? Getting ahead in life? Getting ahead with a bigger/better boat?

Really I had been looking for a bigger boat but the admiral had other priorities every year like a new car, some remodeling, new furniture, etc. One day last summer we left the dock on a calm day and returned on 3 foot waves with our 180. A bigger boat purchase was approved on the spot. Her only requirement was that it had to have a porta potti. As we were looking the quest became "getting a head". We like names with a couple of different meanings and this was a natural. I will confess that the second meaning that we thought of was the fact that we were getting a bigger, newer, and better boat. The last meaning never accrued to us until we said it out loud to a couple of friends (must be I am getting old) . Maybe I should ask on here what is the first thing people think of when they hear the name. I don't want to be embarrassed to pull into a dock or have other boaters embarrassed to raft up and have to go thru the whole explanation.
