The driver had the carry permit... the article did not say how old the driver was.

As long as the dead robber had yet to procreate, then chalk one up for Darwin.

I don't believe a word in that news story. To be the truth meant that the young kid had to have broken several laws including several firearms laws.

We all know that firearms laws work. That's why the liberal left wants more of them--to prevent things like this from happening. Certainly these two outstanding, scholarly, church going, choir boys would not have knowingly broken any laws, Right!

    Darwinism at its finest.

You guys are mean. They were a couple of young, hungry teenagers, and no one would give them a slice of pizza.

Yup, instead of pizza, which only temporarily stays in your body, he got a dose of lead which is pretty permanent.

What concerns me about this kind of stuff, is that the cycle continues. This Pizza guy learned from past robberies of other pizza guys that he better shoot first if he is robbed at gun point. That may have saved his life, but who knows if the kids would have shot him if he didn't have a gun. Maybe, maybe not. I think most pizza guy robbers would have a gun to protect themselves, not with an intent to kill a pizza guy and steal his pizza.

But now the bad guys out there will be more inclined to shoot the robbery victim first as soon as the victim flinches, if they think he has a gun.

No easy solutions. Banning guns is not going work, but what will?

Not a solution but a step in the right direction is teaching kids right from wrong and that there are consequences to bad behavior. Not everybody gets a trophy in life and kids need to understand that. They grow up on public assistance and think everything in life should be handed to them. Our gov't isn't doing anyone any favors by making public assistance a career. They need to put limits on it. I heard the other day that a lady has been getting free stuff and handouts for 16 years and there is nothing wrong with her. In 16 years she couldn't find a job? In this economy? I know a few people living off the system that have absolutely nothing wrong with them and they aren't even looking for jobs and are not required to. Yet I have worked all my life but went through a 4 month period that I was unemployed and was required by the unemployment office to apply for 3 jobs a week and provide proof I applied for said jobs in order to keep my unemployment benefits.
My step-son is a detective near here and they have at least 1 homicide per month and at least 1 shooting a week and I would guess that 95% of all murder suspects he arrests do not have jobs.

Trump is working on this as we speak. He's going to cut some benefits in the spring. If you're able to work he's expecting that you try to do just that. He's hoping he can push some folks back into the work force and be less dependent on social programs.

Dem's will fight that. Back in my Constable days we were responsible for security at the polls. A fellow Constable buddy said a bus pulled up to the precinct he was working. The local democratic party hired a bus and sent it to the projects to bring them out to vote.
