Annapolis Boat Show - recommendations

Wife and I are going to the powerboat show this year. This is my first time and I have only been to the sailboat show once, about 12 years ago.

Any recommendations on parking, lunch, etc.?

Go by boat and pick up a mooring ball up Spa creek and dinghy in. Parking is a mess if the weather is nice. But I would try parking over in East Port possibly at the elementary school and walking over the bridge. Or you can try parking out of town a bit by Carpaccio's great food and a large outside bistro area. But that's a mile from the docks. Most of the immediate restaurants right a the docks are not that good IMO and you need to go up the block to get into the better quality places.

I went a few years ago and parked at the Navy Stadium. Rode the shuttle bus to and from the show from there. Very easy.

I park at the Calvert Street garage. It's free on weekends.

It's about a 1/2 mile walk to the show and is on my way into town, so you miss a bunch of traffic.
