A guy at work had a 30' Weekender and when he turns it to "anchor" all the nav lights come on. Mast, transom, red and green. Does anyone know how the switch should be wired, or if there is a diode or somkind of other device inline?

I think some of them had a two position switch with off in the middle. Down for anchor and up for nav lights or something like that? I can't remember and I'm too lazy to walk out to the boat and uncover it at 11:00 PM!! I'm sure someone else will have it!

He found the problem, it seems that the wire that leaves the switch and turns on the rear section of the mast light was chafed, or shorted to the wire (I think Grey) that runs to the rest of the running lights. He couldn't find the actual short, but ran 2 new wires and all appears to be fine.
