Hey guys, my wife and I will be at the Anchor Inn on Oct. 14th & 15th. Any suggestions on what to see within our very limited time frame ?

Frankly, there's not much to see within walking distance and that area is pretty rural past the shoreline. Assuming you have a car, there's lots to see and do in Annapolis; I'm partial to the Naval Academy. But, that's one of the boat show weekends, Sailboat as it were, but the vendor booths are almost always the same between sail and power. In any event, Annapolis will be mighty crowded so you might want to do DC instead.
Best Deale restaurant is Skipper's Pier IMO.

Coming out to put a deposit on a Weaver?? https://www.weaverboatworks.com/
Your hotel, marina & bar are owned by Weaver. They build the hauls on-site where the hotel is, then flip them and truck them a mile or so away for finishing. As for the immediate area, not a ton to see in Deale other than some fun waterfront restaurants. Will you have a car? Annapolis is about 30mins by car.

+1 on Skippers Pier.

Come to think of it, Rockhold Creek, very close to where you're staying, has a healthy number of charter boats. If you're wanting to fish or just get on the Bay, google Rockhold Creek charters and you'll get a long list to choose from.

Yes, we'll have a car...

Loosen up is another charter. Boat show is fun. Park at Naval academy and take bus downtown. Dockside at 421 Deale rd is also good restaurant. You’ll enjoy the boathouse bar there at the Inn. Cheers from Deale firehouse, Mike

Inner Harbor has lots of good stuff, shopping for the Admiral, etc…., and Phillips Seafood Restaurant with patio on the water.

That is at a great marina as well, Herrington Harbor North, also home of Weaver boat builders.

Another locals joint is Happy Harbor (Between Dockside and Boat House) it's not much, but great food and cold drinks, fun to dinghy up to. I know only a car, I would take Skippers over Dockside if you can only do one.

But all of those are pretty much dock bars. If you want "fine" dinning then Annapolis is the only venue for that. There is a great restaurant called Carpaccio very good food. https://www.carpacciotuscankitchen.com/
Lewnes' steak house http://lewnessteakhouse.com/menu/salads.html
And also Chart House https://www.chart-house.com/location/chart-house-annapolis-md/

+1 on Carpaccio. Also, check out Choptank if you are going to Annapolis. Its a new restaurant right on ego alley that has great food, drinks, and ambiance. Make a reservation early. They have been booked up since they opened.

Wtihout knowing what you want to do/see, here's a short list of places you can check out online:

At or near Anchor Inn:
Less than 10 miles:
Towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach. North Beach has some decent walking around, local shops, etc. Ches Beach more of restaurants and small resort/gaming facility. Still only 8-12 miles from your hotel
That's my list of "local" places to see, I'm sure there are plenty I missed. I didn't include Annapolis, as someone pointed out the sailboat show is in town. You can still go there and visit the town, shops, etc without going to the show it will just be super crowded with people who think they have the right of way, all the time....

Friends daughter works there and says they are doing well with good feedback (just Opened this year).

If you like to walk and look at boats, you can't beat HH North, heel, they have more boats still stored on land than most marinas have in the water
