I have a fantastic high-end snubber that was purchased for our 450. It has one inch nylon rope( super soft ) and a stainless claw. All my pictures are on craigs-list Maryland.I purchased it for 225.00 and want 100.00 plus shipping. This thing is fantastic for keeping the stress off your windless and helps keeping your boat from swaying at anchor. The claw hooks are 1/2 wide and has a space between of 1/2 inch. The rope is 15-20 ft long for tying off at the bow cleats.

Thank you,
Tommy

Can I get a bit more info? Brand/model, CL ad link?

Just as an FYI you should be tying off your anchor rode to a cleat after setting the anchor. There should be no stress on the windlass anyway.

Agreed. I'm full chain though, so this will make for a good solution

I'm full chain too so I may have to invest in one of these.

It's an invaluable device that works great. You will see them on large sailboats, trawlers etc. Mine was expensive and worth every penny.I got tired of that tug every time the boat shifted on the hook.

So how will you do without it now?
