An Old, New Cockpit table

Peter,

The round cockpit table leg like Todd's 260 and our 280 are made up of pipe that is shaped like a 7 (with a 90 degree corner). The mount on the table fits horizontally so that the top can be tilted.

You might look into this hardware as a possible solution.

Peter, you may want to look into the Zwaardvis hardwater then. It may solve your issue

got your table done this evening. I had a few minutes to kill waiting for some other panels to cure. Hope you like it. I added a rope around the edge so it looked a little more centered. I also vector engraved it so it's deep enough you can spray a heavy gloss urethane on it if you want.

Lookin good. How deep do you think the cuts are? it also looks like the inside of the dolphins and letters are a little darker, or am I just seeing things? very cool.

Hi all,
here's what I have for a cockpit-table, the orginal L-shaped mount is used + a couple of fasteners attached to the portside railing.

I think he programmed it to fill the Letters and dolpins slightly.
It's looking good. I'll pick it up later today

Looks good. What is the clear product you used?

Todd, I used 'International's Goldspar Varnish' mixed with about 10 percent mahogany tint from the same company (International). I'm still to find out how it has survived the winter...
/Robert (this time I don't Skål as I'm at work :O) )

Nice.
Put your boat's info in your signature so we know what you have. It appears you also have a 260DA.

Very nice Todd!!!
I'm planning also to make one myself during the winter.

Peter.

Ok,

Here are my entries in the table wars. The big one is teak & mahogany for next year on Bella. The smaller table is based on the 320 table and is bound for a local charity auction after New Years.

Oh and the plastic bag are the curtains from Bella. Dry Cleaning seems to be the best way.

Those are nice looking too. I will be making a new drink holder next that will replace the lame one forward of the "L" lounger on the port side under the Windshield.

Henry, that is just gorgeous!

Todd, your table looks terrific. Also, on the subject of cupholders, somewhere on here there are pics of a beautiful cupholder that Henry built as well. I never hooked up with him to try to get him to make me one. (pretty dumb and lazy of me, since we live in the same town!)

Cheers,

Bill

Bill,

If you are around the first week in January, the small table will be auctioned at the annual Sarah Lufkin Scholarship auction in Essex. PM me and I will get the date and location. The pic below is another style of cupholder I made for Jake Burridge's Mainship.

You guys are giving me inspiration for the winter! Fantastic work on the tables and the cupholder!

Now to get some clear on it and mount it.

A good friend of mine is a professional painter. He put the first of maybe 4 total coats on today.
They doing a catalyzed 'pour" like you'd see on bar tops and it will be a very nice durable finish, especially with a few more coats.
I stopped by to check it out. It looks great.
