We currently own an '06 29' Amberjack - we love it but recently got invited on board an '01 Express 330.....loved the concept.....but, can't find any for sale.....also, found out that they don't even make the Express model any longer, that is equipped for fishing.....now the BIG question: we're thinking about looking at a 1998 Express 370 (with many updates, very clean) 638 engine hours, cat diesels, fishing package (barely ever used), etc.....HOWEVER, (drum roll here)....we just don't feel real comfortable, about going this far "back in time" since ours is eight years newer.....comments, please!!!

I own a 1999 370EC and I can say it is a great boat. If you find a nice one you will love it.

The 370 EC is one of the best designs Searay ever copied. The design and layout was the same as the Tiara open cockpit. I owned a 2000 370EC for eight years and have to say that the boat handled great in rough seas, ran great, easy access to the engines and absolutely a wise choice. The Cats are the way to go, the boat was standard with Merc Horizons 380 MPI. Good power for boat but better off with the Cats. The boat weighs in at 20,000 pounds and has a wide beam at 14.2' the king size V birth is huge and the Solon has ample space. The galley is lacking in cabinet space so I took the TV out and put it on the wall in the salon replacing the TV with steel sliding out drawers made a huge difference. A bit of a trick to do, but it can be done. Most of the time the Solon sliding door fell down and pulled the track with it because some people travel without closing the door, but it can be fixed easy enough with some new screws. I would not look at the age of the boat as much as how the boat was upgrade and maintained as the hull design in my opinion is timeless. Hope this helps, if you owe one of these boats you will get compliments wherever you go!
