Alarms beeps twise every 2 minutes

Excuse my lack of boating knowledge but what does "IAC" stand for??

Idle Air Control valve. It's not just boats, cars have them too. Come to think of it, I've never had a problem with an IAC on an auto. Maybe it's the marine environment that's hard on them or just the fact that most boat motors work much harder than auto engines do. I do know it is more irritating with the beep noise on a boat than when the "service engine soon" light comes on a car.

Best suggestion for the 2 beeps per minute is to have the dealer/shop read out the error log to see what is generating the error condition. No need in ruining a good day out on the water and having to be towed back in.

Here are the codes:

Pres....where did you get this list from? Looks like a good thing to have.

Ok, my DA was beeping at me about three weeks ago. Two beeps ever couple minutes. Started when I was sitting idle. Went away under speed and didnt come back until this last weekend. Started to two beep me nonstop underway. When i pushed the stick all the way fwd it went from two beeps to a steady tone until I backed down to idle and then didnt pass 4k rpms. Plugged scan tool in and there were no codes. Replaced the IAC and that fixed it. So if you dont feel any noticable change in power(I couldnt) and your fluid levels are good...its probably and IAC valve. Takes all of 10 minutes to remove, clean old gasket off, and replace.

Scott...thanks for the update. I am going to replace mine and see if the beeping goes away. I find it interesting the scanner didn't show any codes. Did you watch them change it out?
