I’m planning on replacing the depth transducer that was connected to my SR Navigator that has since been removed. I have a NMEA2000 network so I was looking at the Airmar DT800 because I’d like to have redundant depth and add water temp, I don’t care about speed through the water or sonar.
There are lots of failure complaints online about this series of transducers but Airmar is basically the only game in town. Does anybody have good or bad experience with this series? Or any other suggestions? Sure would hate to run the cable multiple times due to failure even if while under warranty.
