Aguapalooza 2008 Site.

North Georgia boys are not allowed on the St Lawrence Seaway. Besides, nobody can afford the gas to get there.

I hear you about the gas prices. Oh well just be thankful it is not higher priced:smt089. Not sure if I understand your comment about the St.Lawrence Seaway? I thought the main event was going to be on the Lake of the Ozarks??

We can only swing the local event at our Marina, otherwise, it's way to far to go. I'm all registered up though, two free t-shirts on the way....

Looks like they'll be doing it again on Sacandaga Lake this year.
Hope it's better than last year. Only 5-6 boats!
On the Aquapalooza main page, there is a pic of my daughter on top.
Blonde with Aquapalooza shirt and tube around her waist.
Yup..and that's me behind her :)

I registered for July 19 at Candlewood lake.

SHould be a disaster. Candlewood is one of the most crowded lakes in New England on a weekend as it is. I will bring a camera

Chuck: Thought I saw Wellesley Island. Must have been a prior year, like 2001 or something. I'm always a little behind the times. Maybe I got it from a different website like theboaters.com. Are there several aquapoloozas around the country?

I am the proud new owner a of 2008 220 Sundeck; planning on attending the Norwalk CT event on July 20th at Sheffield Island.

How was the 2007 event? Any tips from the experienced boaters that attended last year?

Looking forward to meeting some of my fellow CT Sea Ray Owners.

Thanks
Chip

Ours consists of hotdogs or hamburgers and a tshirt, walk around the store and dock and look at a few boats. That's all folks.

AquaPalooza began in 2006. The event you remember may have been a local dealer Rendezvous. Sea Ray has AquaPalooza events all over the world, held by local dealers and supported by Sea Ray corporate. As of yesterday, more than 4,502 boats and 22,277 people have registered for events all over the world (per SR via a trade publication).

The "Signature Event" is the one that is always the biggest and is planned and run by a team comprised of corporate (marketing, apparel, Owners Club) and local dealer staff members. The first Signature was in Knoxville, TN (SR's HQ), 07 was in Fairview Beach, VA, and 08 will be at Lake of the Ozarks, MO.

Anyone registering for AquaPalooza or are you just showing up?

Just curious. If you register, you get two T-shirts. How you get the T's depends on how the SR dealer passes them out. Some have you pick them up at the dealership, some have you pick them up at the event.

In any case, I'm sure the number registered determines how many T's they print.

I just registered for the Knoxville meet.

Looks like it should be fun, and if it isn't, we can just head to another part of the lake.
