Advice needed on gelcoat repair

I have procured a heated space for the boat for about 3 weeks over the holiday season. I want to do some gelcoat repair in the ski locker and in the bilge, where the gelcoat fractured and splinterered in a couple of places. I think this has been discussed previously; if someone could point me to a thread to read, that would be helpful.

Go to the gelcoat/fiberglass repair forum and you'll find a lot of good tips, especially the sticky thread that is first. I'm still waiting to hear from anyone who knows how to properly fix dings around an edge.
