If any of you registered folks log off of your CSR account you will see a banner ad across the middle of the page after the first post. This is just me experimenting with putting those google ads on the site. If you are registered adn logged in you will not even see this stuff. Just wanted to mention this before somebody came on saying "the sky is falling..csr now has banner ads!"

Again, none of this will affect registered users or sponsors.

Me too! If not I'll need to find another way to convince my wife all the time I stare at this site is worth it

Sounds like it is time for everyone to revamp their sponsorship...Jim don't go toward the white light...We need CSR!!!

Speaking for myself only, I wouldn't mind being exposed explicit banner ads from, say, Victoria's Secret, or even Frederick's of Hollywood.

I agree  :smt038

Hey Wesley -

What is a platinum sponsor? I've seen silver and gold, but that is a new one. Did you buy Jim a new boat?

Platinum sponsors are people that donate time and effort to CSR. We only have 3, Wesley and Stihlbolts are moderators and Capt_Jack handles the server administration which is very helpful as I always screw that stuff up when I touch it.

Wesley, I'm not going towards the light. All is fine. In our business things slow down entirely after July 4th, so my problem is now I have some free time on my hands. That's why I'll be making some improvements to the site. I personally like to see banner ads on any site I go to as it brings fresh content to each page that I might otherwise would not know about. I have learned about a lot of cool things out of the blue from a banner ad. At the same time I know a lot of people freak out about them, so I figure sticking them up for unregistered users to see will not freak out the loyal members too badly.

Another cool thing I am getting ready to integrate is our classifieds section on steroids. I have been working over the last few weeks to design a really nice classifieds section instead of the way it is currently being done.
