Adding Freshwater Cooling to 7.4 Merc?????

I am thinking about adding Freshwater Cooling to my 1991 250 Sea Ray Weekender with a 330 hp 7.4 Merc and Bravo II. There is a lot of room and I can do most of my own work. The boat we just bought has only 450 hours and has been used only in freshwater and we would like to keep the salt water from the Chesapeake & Atlantic out of the motor completely.

Does anyone have any experience good or bad with adding freshwater cooling, they would like to share that will shed some light on doing this.

this is a fairly easy job if you have any mechanical experice what so ever. the directions that come with the kit are easy to follow. it is kinda time consuming though, should take you less than a day to do it and do it right.
