adding electric anchor?

I am thinking about adding an electric anchor winch to front of my S-24 Sorrento. HAs anyone done this? Have any ideas. I have seen the winches at the store, I am thinking about mounting the winch in the achor storage compartment.

FYI -- the correct term for the electric anchor winch is "windlass". I say this to help you find more accurate info. Go online to any marine store and search for windlass. Maybe start with WestMarine.com -- they might even have tips for installing one.

Mine came factory installed so I can't help too much.
