Adding a volt meter

Thinking of adding a voltmeter to my '06 195 Sport. Anyone done this...not sure how hard it would be to wire it in?

Quick and easy, go to walmart, in the battery section they sell a voltage meter that plugs into a 12v acc plug, it works great, gives voltage digitaly, tells if your charging
etc... $ 18.00 How can you leave it!

An 06 should be equipped with Smartcraft. If so, go buy a Sea Ray, or Merc Smartcraft voltage gauge (Merc is about $ 39, don't know about Sea Ray), cut a 2 1/8 hole in your dash and plug it into the Smartcraft link harness.

"Sport" series boats don't have Smartcraft. If it's got the optional MPI engine, it does, however, have the ECM - so Smartcraft can be added. However, I don't know what kind of costs would be involved.
