As we continue to bring the decor of our '89 Sundancer out of the Disco era we finally found some salon lighting that we liked. I would really have like to put recessed lights in the overhead but the fabric is just glued to the underside of the deck so without redoing the whole headliner that wasn't going to work.

This first pic is what was there and the second is what they usually looked like.

We replaced those with these:

We also needed some additional light on the right side of the galley so I added these right under the upper cabinet:

Lastly we added some rope light under the cabinet that is near the dinette.

I chose to not use LED at this time but may switch out the halogens as they burn out.

Looks good. The never-ending quest to expunge the "Crocket & Tubbs" era from the record continues!

Great Reno work. Nice thing about those older Sea Rays they had a good hull for most. Dress em up and repower them and they are good for another 25 years.
Mood lighting is always good to install the CHICKS like that.

Very nice job! I am getting ready to install new ones on our '86 300DA and was wondering the same thing - where did you get your lights at?

I bought them online. There is a link to the place I got them a couple of messages back.

I also used these lights, I found them affordable and the frosted lens does a great job for general illumination along with the spot but I added a dimmer to the fixture also.
The picture is not very good of the dimmer add on.

The dimmer would be nice but I have other lighting as well that is hidden and indirect. I have that on dimmers.

Nice job. You have good taste.
