I have a 1988 305 30 foot with a loose anchor roller attached to the bow. The bolts are inside the the anchor locker which has access through the mirror. The mirror when open is to small to fit through to undo the bolts on the anchor roller. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to remove the bolt from the anchor roller inside the anchor locker?

My bow is soft and i also need to do some repair, so i need access. Not sure how to repair.
Any suggestion welcome.

I'm going through the same thing, right now, where the anchor roller, hawse pipe and tie-offs were never sealed properly. I'm letting it dry out real well before I decide what route to take to fix it.

I take it you don't have a hatch on the top side?

If you can't reach in there (you might have to get your body in a funny position inside the cabin) you'll probably have to cut the access hole bigger. Unless you can get creative and create an extension for your wrench.

Are there not screws holding the whole fwd bulkhead that can be removed and the entire piece removed? On my previous boat they had screws and a few alum angles with stainless screws and i could remove the whole piece by going down and towards the stern and then you will have full access. Make sure to disconnect lights and label to put back in. See if yours was similar??? Keep us posted...

thanks for the input.
I will double check to see if the entire piece unscrews. I will have to remove the fabric covering the entire assymbly.
If no screws I will just cut it out.
I will be back at the boat next weekend, will keep you posted.

Look on the inside of the pannel if i remeber correctly. It was not the same boat but same vintage just check the inside and maybe you can save the fabric.
