The pump out boat has broken off my "clam shell" vent cover 4 times over the years. The last time, it's beyond repair and needs replacement. I have a SR part number (688721) but have had no luck finding it online. Haven't called a SR dealer yet. That's the last resort.
Any suggestions?
Also, do you think the city (it's a public service) should pay for it?

A quick Google of the part number for the cover show several resources including eBay.

Look for Searayman13 on eBay. He usually has that kind of stuff and he’s located here on Long Island so shipping should be quick to you in Massachusetts.

Just give in and go to MarineMax. They usually have them in stock and they are priced similar to the ones you see on e Bay.

Thanks for the resources! I looked at FP marine and came up empty.
Should the city pay for it?

I talked to the Harbormaster today, and he wants to make it right, but the city has to file a bazillian forms to pay anything. Bureaucratic bullshit. Most claims go thru insurance, but it's not worth it for that small amount. I think I am going to have to eat it.
