A Lock for sailboaters

When sailboats pass beneath a bridge it always causes the bridge to raise which slows traffic. I figure everyone already hates blow boaters without all the mess of having to stop traffic. That just makes more people get pi$$ed at blow boaters.

Sorry Guys it aint go'na happen. Cheaper to raise a bridge than dredge and power concrete and add supper hydraulics with gates and pumps. Beside, blow boat owners will go ballistic. Everyone knows they have all rights on the water.:smt009 (At least in their minds)
 
The amount of energy required to operate this would make it too expensive to actually run.
