The generator on my '08 310 Sundancer quit running and gave me a code 62 ERR. No water was coming out of the exhaust when I restarted it, and it promptly shut down again, with the same code. I checked the pump impeller, and two of the vanes had broken off and become lodged in the discharge port. I was able to get them out, and installed a new impeller, but no water flow, and it quickly shutdown with the same code. After discussions with the mechanic, and the Kohler Service Department, I started checking hoses. The sea cock was open, the strainer was clean, all hoses seemed to be in good shape and not plugged. So, I opened the sea cock with the filter cap off, and did not get any water out. I disconnected the hose at the sea cock, and got no water out when I opened it. After probing with a long screwdriver, I got a little flow, and after more probing a small fish popped out, followed by a full flow of water. Everythings fine now.

I've actually had that too! I've had a jellyfish do the same thing. Now, I have a cover for the opening that looks like a shower drain - highly recommended.
