Where in NY  did you find these beautiful creatures?

Very nice, it's not easy to find these sites in Caribbean’s, it’s nice to know we have them closer to home in FL. Nice shots, thanks for sharing.

Finally figured out how to post photos.....so practicing the new skill.

Wow, what a shot. You must be diving for a long time to develop comfort level to sharks. I'd be hiding far away. Is this a night dive?

jrock: very very nice. The American flag shot! very cool. looks like some current down there too. That is the Spiegel off John Penny Camp right? I had heard shes down around 135'. The Spiegel is where I hope to do my advanced deep dive cert. I certified out of Crystal Clear charters. Who did you charter your dive from? And thanks again for sharing with us ...Ron

Hello Ron

Yeah thats the SG and she sits in 135fsw but you can reach her at 65 I love that dive, there are so many swim threw and things to see It really is a site.
When I dive in Key Largo I either dive with Conch Republic or Silent world. Both have great ops SW has smaller boats CR bigger boats but better run.
I do most of my FL diving in Jupiter which is my favorite type of diving its a little on the deep side there are two reef systems shallow run 70 -05 the deeper one run 120-150fws
its all drift diving and there are always huge sea life big turtles, rays, Sharks eels and Goliath Grouper
If you want shot me a PM and maybe we get to dive together
J

OK, the sand tiger photo needs a bit of an explanation. The queen trigger was in Barbados, the sea turtle was in Grand Cayman and the sand tiger, well...downtown Charleston, SC. My wife was a volunteer diver at the SC Aquarium when we first moved here. After a piranaha tank cleaning experience, I asked her to consider if 10% off in the gift shop was suitable compensation. She was in the tank a few hours per week with many sharks, some moray eels and her least fav companion, the cubera snapper. Anyway, a few more photos - octopus in Bahamas, tarpon / turtle in Grand Cayman and her somewhere in Mexico.
